Chef De Partie

Salary: GBP24000 - GBP26000 per annum

Castle Hospitality division are recruiting for an Experienced Chef De Partie for a local unique hospitality client based in the Helmsley, North Yorkshire area.  The successful Chef De Partie will be required to work along with the Sous Chef to maintain standards set by the Company Operating Standards, ensuring the Kitchen hygiene standards are without exception adhered to. To ensure that guests receive always through effective communication with all departments, the highest level of customer care. 

Responsibilities:

  • Produce high quality food every service.
  • To ensure all compliance with food hygiene, health and safety and cleanliness of the kitchen and stores areas.
  • Prepare, cook and serve food as specified by the Head Chef and Sous Chef and to ensure that the food meets the appropriate specification.
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef to supervise the Commis Chefs in all food preparation and food production in all kitchens.
  • Assist in food ordering by informing the Sous Chef when stocks are reaching par stock levels

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven Chef De Partie experience in an established restaurant.
  • Previous Rosette experience preferred but not essential
  • Assist with menu implementation
  • Assists in storeroom & receiving area pot checks
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Approachable
  • Good Organiser and can lead a small team
