Class 1 Driver (GC1D1) Scarborough, England
Castle Industrial are recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join the expanding team of a growing successful company based on the outskirts of Scarborough, North Yorkshire on a temporary - permanent basis.
The Role
The purpose of this post is to work within a small team to ensure that a good service is provided to customers delivering products nationwide.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Hold a valid CPC card
- Have a full clean driving licence C1 + C1E
- Experience of tachograph management - digitachos
- Have 3 years previous driving class 1 and 2 vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills
- Have the ability to manually handle a variety of products ranging in size and weight, this is a very physically demanding role.
- Have a flexible approach to your work as you will working as part of the general production team when not required for driving duties
- Have a flexible approach to hours as this role will include early starts, evening and weekend work due to the time critical nature of the product
Pay: £9.00 - £10.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours a week
