Castle Hospitality and Cleaning division are currently recruiting for a food and beverage manager to manage a team of around 15 bar and kitchen staff to ensure all bars, kitchen and restaurant are running smoothly. This rare and unique position has come available as their previous employee relocated after 11 years in the role. This local independent venue stays open 7 days a week and open until 6am on a weekends.
As food and beverage manager you will assist the General Manager in achieving the highest possible standards of customer service and profitability as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
Job Description
- Responsible for ensuring that all F&B areas have staff, equipment, facilities and raw materials to ensure the smooth running of the company
- To make recommendations and planning for changes to product experience and service standards
- To support the general manager in ensuring that F&B departments to maximise profitability
- To record stock, and be responsible for ordering and rotation to minimise waste
- To supervise and organise F&B employees
- To train staff and ensure that all training sheets are signed off
- Responsible for recruitment, training appraisals and motivating F&B staff members.
- Ensuring all legislation and policies and adhered to
Requirements
- A license holidays is high advantageous
- Comfortable working until 5/6am on Fridays and Saturday
- Experience in a similar role managing staff
- A good knowledge of foods, wines, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and beverages.
- To have experience ordering stock and working with budgets
- To have experience managing both a bar and a kitchen
- Experience carrying out interviews, disciplinary and appraisals.
