Shellfish Production Operatives and Labourers (BK2740) Scarborough, England
Due to continued expansion our client is seeking Shell Fish Production Operatives and Labourers to work in their seafood processing unit in Scarborough. This is an excellent opportunity for full time work with immediate starts available.
As a Production Operative you will be part of the team who;
- Process the daily catch from the harbourside through to dispatching to the customer, including cleaning, cooking and cooling, bagging, accurately labelling and vac packing the produce.
As a Labourer you will be;
- Lifting crates of both live and processed shellfish between all production areas, keeping up with the pace each area demands, the crates weigh on average 20kg
To be successful you will;
- Ideally have previous experience working in a shellfish / food production environment
- Be comfortable working at accurately at pace to meet high volume demands
- Be comfortable working to strict production deadlines
- Be comfortable working in a cool environment
- Have a basic food hygiene certificate
