Castle Hospitality and Cleaning Division are looking for a Chef to join a family run successful pub based in Driffield. Priding themselves in good quality home cooked food overlooking the beautiful coastline. The role will include working within the kitchen team ensuring all starters, mains and deserts go out well presented, and in a timely manner. This role is a full time permanent position working 5 days over 7 with two days off, will include weekends.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• To be responsible for all stages of the meal including starters, desserts and main meals
• To be comfortable working the pass during busy periods
• To have previous experience working the grill including cooking steaks to order
• To work with the team to ensure all food has gone out hot, well presented and in a timely manner
• To ensure all kitchen legislation is followed and the kitchen maintains its 5 out of 5 hygiene rating 
• To work as part of a team to ensure the kitchen is left clean at the end of service
• To be aware of specials and have an input into their changes in the menu

Requirements 

• Having a qualification in food or catering would be advantageous
• To have previous kitchen experience comfortable working throughout busy periods
• To be away of kitchen hygiene and legislation 
• To be comfortable working in a flexible role covering starters, mains, desserts and specials
