Tool Setter / Factory Operative (RL5462) Scarborough, England
Castle Industrial and Construction are currently recruiting a Tool Setter / Factory Operative for our client based in the East Yorkshire Area.
The role:
As the Tool Setter you will be required to:
- Ensure all moulds are set up accurately prior to production commencing
- Accurately check specified measurements from drawings
- Monitor different production stages in line with ISO quality standards
- Audit and report low stock levels
- Record data throughout the production process
- Complete all shift paperwork
- Assist with the training of new operatives
When tooling is set you will be required to assist with the general factory operatives, this will require you to:
- Mixing raw materials in accordance with company guidelines
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
- Regulate the flow of raw materials
- Check finished items for quality and store safely prior to packaging
- Ensure all tools are cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift
To be successful you
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings
- Ideally have previous experience of tool setting
- Can follow process and instruction
- Have an eye for detail
- Ideally have previous experience of supervising a small team
Hours: 8.00am – 4.45pm Mon – Thursday 8.00am – 3.00pm Friday
Pay: starting at £7.50 per hour this will increase on completion of probationary period.
