As a Kitchen Manager, you will lead the back of house operation, creating the perfect environment for your team to succeed, whilst reporting to the General Manager to ensure the successful running of the business. The role is with a new, modern and trendy Quick Serve Restaurant so we require a strong manager, full of passion and enthusiasm, but very efficient with driving process in food preparation and time management.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Manage the back of house operation, working alongside the GM and taking responsibility for all food operations within the venue.
• Hands on approach to drive the best performance from your team
• Coach and develop your team through passionate engagement focusing on quality, efficiency and customer service.
• Being able to cope in a challenging and demanding workplace where customer experience is your focus.
• Responsible for all health and safety controls on site.
• Responsible for all scheduling, training and recognition of success.
Skills/Requirements
• Ability to cope well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
• Inspirational leader.
• Passionate about engagement, development and customer service.
• 12 months experience in a fast paced, customer facing role within the catering, hospitality and restaurant sector.
• Smart business acumen with ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Planning and prioritising ensuring the business runs smoothly whilst delivering the highest standard of service.
• Communication skills to inspire and deliver key messages in huddles.
• Passion to work from the front, setting the standard for your colleagues to follow.
