Deputy Manager

• Deputy Manager role with a competitive salary of £30k rising to £38k OTE.
• Hospitality/Restaurant sector in a traditional British Pub taking close to £2m p/y.
• Restaurant Management experience is essential.

As an Deputy Manager, you will be ultimately be responsible for running the entire operation, whilst specialising in managing all restaurant and catering services, demonstrating fantastic customer service and a clear capability to cope in high pressure/hands on environments.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Will work alongside the General Manager and report to the owner. (independently owned)
• Current General Manager will run the bar/pub operation whilst this role will manage more the restaurant/catering side of the operation. However, you’ll be responsible for all areas.
• Candidate will need a strong restaurant background with specific experience managing large, busy operations and a very hands on/fast approach.
• Work closely with the General Manager and owner to plan strategies to maximise peak summer opportunities and keep the customers coming back during off-peak winter.
• With the pub/site being so large and so busy in summer, it employs around 20-25 staff at any one time during these busy periods.
• Ability to cope under pressure and spin many plates whilst being customer focused and service driven.
