£30,000 - £34,000 pa basic salary + £5K car allowance (paid as salary) + Bonus + Bens
Leading high tech manufacturer requires associate grade IT Business Systems Analyst (with 2-3 years+ experience in a similar role) to join established team. The successful candidate will work with the users of the companies IT systems and the other members of the IT Development team, to specify requirements, and design, test and implement new and updated business applications. The post holder will also carry out project management tasks in order to ensure that systems are built and delivered using approved company IT procedures.
The team are working on a diverse portfolio of software developments including a mix of modifications and new developments, regarding time and materials, logistics, manufacturing, MI, Finance, Sales and Marketing and mobile / tablet computing based business applications.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate previous experience within a similar environment with proven analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) along with a working knowledge of SQL and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Knowledge of multi-table database design theory and SQL for querying (any RDBMS) - allied to some previous experience of generating reports, is preferred.
Desirable:
Experience of Wireframing application user interfaces - Axure or similar
Exposure to Automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver or similar
IT Project management type experience (no certification required but of interest)
