£35,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits 

Some travel required. Option for part home working.  

Global, high growth software solutions house with fortune 500 client base requires experienced Product Owner

The Role: 

To lead cross-functional resources for successful product definition! Providing relevant business context for Agile software development teams and then leading teams through planning exercises designed to help select development work for execution. Day to day you will:

Drive one or more Scrum Teams as the Product Owner

Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements in the forms of Epics, Themes and Stories.

Build and maintain a strong practical knowledge of the product and the recommended deployment architecture

Manage Backlogs, iterations, and elaboration of the user stories

Create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or return on investment

Contribute to define the product road-map

Work with the Scrum Masters to deliver value to the business

Providing an active role in mitigating impediments that might otherwise impact successful team completion of Release and Sprint Goals

Representing the customer, interfacing and engaging with the customer

Producing and maintaining technical documentation associated with the product releases

Required: 

Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Experience of managing and prioritising a Product Backlog.

Experience of creating and co-creating user stories with customers and software developers, using techniques such as User Storyboards etc.

Good understanding of enterprise software deployment models

Excellent English language skills

Good verbal communication skills

Microsoft Word, PowerPoint etc. 

Familiarity with common technologies inc Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop, MS SQL, SSL, Encryption, Certificates, Active Directory, Virtualization, WCF (High level functional understanding not hands on) 

Desirables: 

Professional Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master certification (Scrum.org or Scrum Alliance)

Microsoft SharePoint experience

Knowledge of common Agile process management tools, such as Yodiz, Rally, Team Foundation Server, Trello and Jira

Prior experience of using common User Research techniques

Madcap Flare translation software or similar
