Leading high tech manufacturer based near Chester / Deeside with large internal IT Department is looking for a talented graduate developer with OO programming experience, who is looking to learn and grow within a friendly but technically challenging environment. You will be joining an established business systems team working on projects providing solutions for various internal customers across the whole business. Key to success will be the ability to work in an agile environment, collaborating daily with colleagues, to think innovative and challenge convention and enjoy being part of a team of like-minded individuals.
Skills and experienced required:
Minimum 2.1 degree (including predicted) in Computer Science, Software Development or Computing & Systems Development
Programming with Object-Orientated language
Understanding of Relational Databases and SQL
Exposure to software development and/or database systems
Knowledge of IT systems and software
Good general IT skills and high standard of numeracy and literacy
High level of interest in IT as a career - ideally hobbyist developer with code to show on a GitHub account or similar
Good problem solver
Methodical, careful and conscientious
Professional attitude
Keen to learn full life-cycle software development methodologies and techniques.
Pride in the provision of effective software solutions.
