The Role

As Head of Client Services you will be responsible for managing and leading a customer accounts team within Work Based Learning (WBL) provision, delivering agreed business targets and developing excellent client relationships with customer service at the heart of all that the company does. Responsibilities include:

  • managing team performance / development through coaching, 121s and performance reviews
  • maintaining relationships with customers / business support teams / operational teams
  • analysing clients’ training needs / developing solutions to maximise business opportunities
  • maximising client learner engagement while identifying / securing new business opportunities
  • supporting sales initiatives to increase lead and customer sales generation

The Person

As Head of Client Services you will have proven experience of managing a team of people within a target driven environment and of sales / business development and account management ideally in a learning / training / development organisation. Comfortable operating at management level with an ability to add commercial value you will have:

  • experience working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
  • a background in Active Leisure / Retail or Hospitality sectors
  • strong communication and self-motivation skills
  • excellent negotiation, commercial and influencing skills
  • ability to interpret / analyse / present data clearly and accurately
  • high levels of energy and enthusiasm
