The Role
As Emissions Monitoring Specialist, you will support company activity in the environmental emissions market. You will carry out analyser testing; take responsibility for rental & demonstration equipment; ensure analytical systems operate in compliance with regulations and standards; support UK & overseas customers (international travel is available if desired). Responsibilities include:
- working daily with emissions monitoring analysers and equipment, including hardware & software set-up
- calibration with sample gases in-house to confirm equipment operation / performance
- testing portable / continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS), such system leak checking / fault finding during factory and site acceptance tests ( FAT / SAT )
- training customer and distributors in correct operation of emissions analysers
- liaising with industry bodies and professionals as to the compliance of equipment with emissions standards and procedures
This role would suit an individual with stack emissions monitoring, continuous emissions monitoring (CEMS), engineering, gas or emissions sector related experience.

The Person
As Emissions Monitoring Specialist, you may have stack emissions monitoring experience or previous exposure to a gas analyser manufacturing business with knowledge of any of the following:
- gas emissions monitoring equipment (CEMS)
- instrumentation maintenance, calibration, fault-finding, repair etc.
- working within the MCERTS scheme and/or ISO 17025 (UKAS) certified laboratories
- Swagelok gas fittings, pressurised gas cylinders & regulators
- excellent interpersonal / communication / IT / technical skills
