Sales / Business Development Manager for award-winning lighting business in Acton
The Role
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for selling a full range of lighting products, services and fitments to Interior Designers, Architects, Contractors, Property Developers and individual home owners across London and the Home Counties. Maintaining relationships with the existing client base you will identify new sales leads and follow up new business opportunities
Building on the company’s excellent market reputation, strength and existing client base, you will focus on identifying, prospecting and approaching new contacts and potential clients. All orders are important ranging in value from circa £1,000 to £100,000+ in value!

The Person
As Business Development Manager, you will have sales, technical or industry sector experience, ideally with a background working with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers etc. With a full understanding of the sales and business development cycle you will possess:
- strong interpersonal & communication abilities
- attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- commercial acumen & negotiation skills
- ability to work on projects and to targets
- sales / marketing / bus dev / strategy development
