IT Project Manager to join a dynamic and expanding software development business in Sheffield

THE ROLE

As Project Manager you will be part of an energetic, fast-paced team within an Agile DevOps environment, taking responsibility for the planning, design, day-to-day running and execution of a number of projects. With your focus on the six key areas of scope, timescales, risks, cost, quality, benefits, your responsibilities will also include:

  • initiate projects through liaison with customer, and delegation to appropriate project team members
  • control project documentation - project plans / risk registers / data sheets / cost spreadsheets etc.
  • revise and coordinate plans as appropriate to meet changing requirements
  • lead & motivate team within internal / external stakeholder organisations
  • report regularly to management, suppliers and clients

THE PERSON

As Project Manager you will already have experience working in client-facing roles with a software supplier in a commercial environment.  Knowledge or formal training using G-Suite, PRINCE 2 or Scrum Master would further support your application and you will also need:

  • IT project management delivery experience
  • exposure to Agile DevOps / Oracle / NetSuite environment
  • strong verbal & written communication skills
  • curiosity and a growth mind-set
