Experienced in-house Recruiter for London based transport, haulage, rail, plant, construction business
The Role
The senior Recruitment Partner will work pro-actively to source quality candidates in all disciplines and functions within the business, focussing on the plant hire & construction sectors. You will develop recruitment campaigns using Business & Social Media channels, internet Job Boards, print and local media as well as creating a brand and presence online to build the company reputation as an employer of choice. Liaising with a whole range of operators and specialising in recruiting for the company, you will monitor and record candidates on the database for future talent. Responsibilities include:
- sourcing / selecting candidates within the industry
- networking / advertising for plant machine operators
- negotiating pay rates with new operators
- dealing with queries relating to pay / contracts / logistics
- reference and background checking

Our client is a nationwide blue chip industry specialist supplying the transport, haulage, rail, plant, construction sectors and associated support services.
The Person
As a Senior Recruiter within the London office, you will have previous recruitment experience in the Plant Hire and labour sector. With a passion for engaging with candidates, you will know how to deliver quick and effective permanent and temporary recruitment labour, managing a recruitment budget and using the best of current candidate attraction techniques.
You will have good knowledge of Recruitment Agency and/or in-house roles, working a desk to deliver the end to end recruitment cycle. You will have strong IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, recruitment / candidate recruitment database software) and strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
The hours or work are 07:30 to 18:00 hours Monday to Friday and a Saturday morning every four weeks 07:30 hours to 12:30 hours.
