The Role
As Optician Assistant Manager, you will work in this recently opened and thriving leading retail Brand opticians in Street / Wells, supporting the business by managing the sales, customer service and ‘behind the scenes’ processes. Working with staff and customers you will manage the shop floor to:
- help patients to choose frames
- provide contact lens / spectacles sales and assistance
- book patient appointments / reception duties etc.
The Company
Our client is a thriving retail opticians practice Street / Wells working with updated equipment including OCTs, slit lamp cameras and dry eye clinic equipment. Training and support is available to staff to expand their skillsets, experience and embark on qualifications if desired.
The Person
As Optician Assistant Manager, you will have previous optical experience / interest or exposure in a retail, customer-facing or similar role. You will be friendly and personable with good communication & organisation skills and a customer focused approach.
