Graduate, Trainee or Qualified Emissions System Technician required
Cheshire £22,000 to £28,000 + bens depending on experience

The Role
As Emissions System Technician, you will support company activity in the environmental emissions market. You will carry out tests, taking responsibility for rental & demonstration equipment and analytical systems with UK & overseas customers (international travel is available if desired). Responsibilities include:
- working with P204M / atmosFIRt / atmosFIR CEM including hardware & software set-up
- calibration runs with sample gases in-house to confirm equipment operation / performance
- linearity check, response check and interference checking of analyser responses
- testing portable / fixed emissions systems ( system leak checking / fault finding )
- factory and site acceptance tests ( FAT / SAT )
- performance checking of emissions monitoring systems ( CEMS )
This role would also suit a Stack Emissions Test Engineer or gas / emissions sector related individual looking for a career change.

The Person
As Emissions System Technician, you may have stack emissions test engineering experience or previous exposure to an instrument manufacturing business and you will also be familiar with:
- industrial gas emissions monitoring equipment ( maintenance / calibration / trouble-shooting )
- working to MCERTS and in ISO 17025 (UKAS) certified laboratories
- Swagelok gas fittings, pressurised gas cylinders & regulators
- excellent interpersonal / communication skills
- excellent IT / technical skills
