Expert cycling ‘spin’ instructor to lead indoor spin classes at popular local gym
The Role
As Indoor Cycling ‘Spin’ Instructor, you will work as part of a friendly team, teaching indoor cycling classes in a modern, state of the art spin studio on a part-time basis. Planning & organising the structure and music for your own classes, you will lead participants through an indoor cycling class programme that provides an entertaining and fun atmosphere. Working to high professional standards and providing exceptional customer service you will also:
- ensure classes promote fitness & positive self-esteem in a safe environment
- maintain appropriate level of intensity for each class as appropriate
- explain and demonstrate correct and safe way to perform all exercises
- adhere to general fitness principles including health screening, warm up and cool down
- maintain positive relationships with riders to encourage continued class attendance

Recently refurbished, the spin studio offers a dedicated space for indoor cycling classes with state-of-the-art Stages bikes, and a modern lighting & sound system, where classes are provided for all abilities and confidence levels as part of a comprehensive fitness timetable. The Person
As Indoor Cycling Instructor you will be suitably qualified ( CIMSPA / Level 2 Cert. in Exercise to Music / Fitness Instructor / REPS indoor cycling qualification ) with experience of group exercise instruction and the ability to plan and lead fun, safe and effective classes highly desirable. You will also have:
- confidence delivering group exercise classes
- excellent people and customer service skills
Classes last 45 minutes and you must be available on Tuesdays & Thursdays to teach.
