Planner / Scheduling Coordinator       Southampton / Portsmouth   

£18,000 to £22,000 p.a. d.o.e. £28,000 OTE

THE ROLE

As Scheduling / Planning Coordinator you will be a member of a small team, liaising with customers and organising engineers throughout the South of the UK to ensure the smooth running of service, breakdown and maintenance contracts. Your responsibilities will include:

• providing excellent customer service
• maximising the use / efficiency of engineers / engineering resource
• effectively managing engineers’ time ( starting / finishing locations, travel time etc )
• ensuring resources are constantly available to meet relevant customer needs

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading player in the service and repair of transport refrigeration units with an enviable reputation amongst transport operators for exceptionally high service standards. A new member of the team is required to help coordinate national servicing, breakdown and repair arrangements with its base of large fleet operators and customers in the South of the UK.

THE PERSON

As Scheduling / Planning Coordinator you will have some previous planning, logistics, scheduling or administrative experience, good organisational and customer service skills, be fully IT competent and have the ability to work under your own initiative.
