The Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will focus on the support and delivery of a strong Employee Relations platform and culture into various sites across the region. Working closely with line management you will be involved in all aspects of the HR portfolio with responsibilities including:

  • developing strong relations with unions and representatives
  • conducting performance management reviews
  • recruitment / induction / training
  • sickness / absence management
  • disciplinary reviews

The Person

As HR Advisor you will be familiar with an operations / distribution / manufacturing / production culture with experience supporting HR delivery into the associated functions. Confident, credible and collaborative, you will be part / fully qualified (CIPD or other) and familiar with relevant employment law and compliance exposure. You will be able to prioritise and manage this sizeable brief and work well as part of HR and Site business teams. Your skillsets will include:

  • ability to build strong / long-term partnering relationships with senior teams
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage delivery through external suppliers
  • strong organisational skills

The role involves regular travel across multiple sites around M62 corridor as you build / sustain strong relationships with the site operations and teams.
