Excellent opportunity for experienced IFA Administrator to flourish in a successful & professional Chartered financial planning firm in Thornbury, near Bristol

The Role

As IFA Administrator / Sales Support you will work with a Chartered Financial Planner and clients, offering support to the rest of the team as required. You will play a key part in the client journey from initial engagement to recommendation and implementation, ensuring all new business is managed successfully through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • researching / assisting with production of draft suitability reports / cash-flow modelling
  • being key point of contact for financial planner and clients
  • managing new client / review client processes
  • maintaining accurate records
  • processing new business
  • general administrative duties

The Company

Our client is a firm of Chartered Financial Planners based in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire. Now in their 29th year of trading, clients are predominantly SME business owners, senior executives and wealthy retirees. Their focus is very much on delivering lifestyle financial planning advice rather than product-based selling. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with an up and coming firm (New Model Adviser Top 100 Firm in 2016 & 2018, Professional Adviser Awards Firm of the year finalist in 2017 and 2018).  Benefits include 20 days holiday (increasing to 25 over 5 years); 3% (of full salary) employer pension contribution; A condensed working week finishing at 12.30 p.m. on Fridays; Free local parking.

The Person

As IFA Administrator you will already have some experience in a similar sales support role and ideally be qualified ( Cert CII FS or equivalent ) or studying to achieve this. With a keen interest in your own personal / professional development, you will be confident and self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and a good sense of humour.  You will also have:

  • initiative to work unsupervised and within a team
  • good IT literacy
  • high level of attention to detail / organisation
  • excellent communication skills ( verbal & written )
  • ability to manage varied workloads, prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines

Attainment of relevant industry qualifications will be supported financially.
