Quality Manager for rapidly expanding design & technology company – M1 Corridor         

The Role

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for leading, managing & motivating a small growing team with quality, safety systems, processes, and procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • analysis and definition of Quality processes, legislation, compliance and safety activities
  • leading on ‘safe systems’ briefings, workshops / seminars to influence behaviours
  • developing Quality strategies & deployment plans in design, engineer, & manufacture cycle
  • Ensuring integration of Quality and Lean & Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • leading and managing all external / internal audit activity

The Person

As Quality Manager you will have qualifications / experience in a design, manufacturing, engineering and/or support role within a relevant industry sector e.g. aerospace / automotive / nuclear / aviation / rail etc. A proactive and solutions-led, enthusiastic, robust, commercial, collaborative manager, you will also have:

  • experience of Quality n SME or larger business environments including Safety/Systems
  • knowledge of engineering / manufacturing / production / technical processes
  • strong exposure to Compliance, Internal / External Audit
  • knowledge of Risk & Issue Management
  • ability to communicate/present effectively with engineers / professionals
