Quantity Surveyor for successful and expanding professional consultancy practice
The Role
As Project Quantity Surveyor you will be managing projects from inception to completion with responsibilities as follows:
- preparation of initial budgets and cost plans
- preparation of works tender packages, analysis and comparison of quotations received
- making recommendations for appointment
- certifying payments and issuing appropriate notices as required by the sub-contract
- monitoring work against budget / assessing variation claims / preparing reports for Client
- internal cost reporting
- final account submissions, assessment and negotiations

The Person
As Project Quantity Surveyor you will already have some relevant experience in a professional practice and a proven track record of bringing projects to a satisfactory conclusion and under budget. You will also have:
- retail & commercial experience
- understanding of computerised bill production
- ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- ability to work on own initiative and with a busy team
