The Role
Reporting to the MD, this role will bring management and leadership to the Engineering and Programme Management function with responsibilities including:
- Lead Engineering & Programme teams to deliver growth-based business plan
- Structure, train, develop and motivate the function and teams
- Implement and deliver Business Efficiency / Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Structure Design & Programme management function to maximise efficiency
- Act as functional ambassador, leading customer reviews and shaping team for the future
- Proactively contribute to the company’s growth plans, delivering best solutions

The Person
You will be an experienced Engineering / Programme / Senior Project Manager with excellent leadership skills. Your experience could span Programmes, Engineering, Operations or R&D with an automotive, aerospace, defence, pharmaceuticals or general advanced manufacturing background. You will be passionate about growing high performing teams in an Engineering setting. You will have a sound level of leadership expertise, probably degree level with knowledge of CI and Best Practice delivery and initiatives.
The rewards package includes significant bonus, car allowance and relocation if required. The business is well placed for the M1 corridor.
