Experienced Internal Sales Manager for successful London based textile / rugs supplier

The Role

As Internal Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for sales to key national customers, web retailers and interior design specialists. Assisting the Sales Director, you will also undertake business development for the company’s branded product range. Responsibilities include:

• business development / growth with new clients & interior design groups
• new product offers & prices / sampling process
• monitoring orders / stock levels / supply / delivery capability
• liaison with overseas offices / warehouse / buying and accounts team
• attending exhibitions / digital marketing / PR for the company

The Company

Our London based client is one of Europe’s leading importers and distributors of quality textile products from around the world. They operate from offices and two large warehousing facilities in the UK with their own dedicated sourcing offices / fulfilment centres in China and India.

The Person

As Internal Sales Account Manager, you will have relevant B2B sales / business development / digital marketing experience (wholesale / retail / textiles / fabrics / rugs / carpets etc.) including:

• excellent written and verbal communication
• good organisational / administrative ability
• sales & marketing / PR / client relationship skills
• national / client account management skills
• appreciation of home furnishing aesthetics
