Leading textiles importer & distributor requires Warehouse Supervisor for their North London based warehouse and distribution facility 

The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the accuracy of all goods being sent from the warehouse and for returns processing. Supervising a small team, you will be assisting with physically demanding loading and responsible for ensuring that all goods are dispatched quickly and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:

  • overseeing Goods Out dept & 3PL relationships to ensure orders arrive on time
  • ensuring all orders are checked for accuracy / quality
  • receipting & logging returns on central system
  • working with Warehouse / Stock Control Teams to resolve any issues
  • supporting Systems / Stock Control team to implement new systems / procedures 

The Company 

Our London based client is one of Europe’s leading importers and distributors of quality products from around the world. They operate from offices and two large warehousing facilities in the UK with their own dedicated sourcing offices / fulfilment centres in China and India. 

The Person 

As Warehouse Supervisor you will have experience of managing Goods Out within a physically demanding warehouse environment. You will also:

  • have knowledge of carriers / carrier systems with multiple SKUs
  • be able to handle a physically demanding role
  • be a team player with a hands on approach to achieving targets

Experience with automated warehouse, logistics & stock control systems would be advantageous but full training will be given.
