Business Development Executive                              Bristol                          £25k to £30k p.a. OTE

Sales & Business Development Opportunity for enthusiastic and dynamic individual in Bristol based Environmental Consultancy

The Role

As Business Development Executive, you will build a sales pipeline for the business by organising surveys and making appointments for the senior business development managers. You will develop a client base within the Facilities Management / Building / Services / Offices / Business sector, based on the growing demand for mandatory energy efficiency requirements in a buildings and construction and FM environment. Your responsibilities include:

• researching new potential sales and business contacts
• making outbound calls / contacts / emails to engage with new clients
• submitting email proposals to potential & existing clients
• arranging appointments / calls / surveys /customer visits as required

The Company

Our client is based in central Bristol serving a local and national client base of public and private companies in performing energy efficient and money saving programmes to their buildings. They are a young hungry company and the successful candidate is joining at an exciting stage of company growth, as they assist clients in saving on their energy consumption and the associated impact on the environment.

The Person

As Business Development Executive, you will have some experience in selling, sales, making outbound calls and contacts ideally with some Energy Sector experience or interest in this growing Energy / Conservation / consumption / sustainability sector. You will need:

• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• ability to work to targets
• good organisational skills
• ability to build and maintain relationships
