The Role
As Commercial Director you will manage the commercial processes of the business including revenue generation, costing and pricing dynamics, customer retention and retailing strategies. You will capitalise on regional growth opportunities to deliver positive social, economic and corporate benefit, overseeing the stakeholder engagement strategy and managing the delivery of a challenging commercial plan. Responsibilities include:
- developing / delivering business strategy to achieve forecast and planned profit targets
- designing / delivering media and stakeholder engagement and retention strategies
- implementing community engagement & environmental improvement plans
- leading on company project initiatives and innovation strategies

The Person
As Commercial Director you will have a track record of delivering profitable revenue growth in a commercial business with successful leadership experience from a retail / marketing / customer focused sector. With a relevant marketing or business qualification, the role requires:

- ability to forecast, plan, measure and deliver financial targets
- experience developing / delivering branding strategies
- digital marketing / smart retailing knowledge
- communication, influencing and negotiating skills
