Role Overview
Reporting into the CFO, the Financial Controller is responsible for the traditional month end delivery that is end to end. This will see you manage your local team to deliver the close in conjunction with your FP&A team. This role is more than just month end delivery. Large components of this role is geared towards project work such as optimisation of processes, solidification of controls, drafting of Revenue accounting impact papers and supporting business cases for new product development.
Previous experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm will be highly desirable, but those who have come through the ranks of another large multi-national will be well regarded. You will have a genuine passion to work alongside the business internally as you look to optimise the ‘engine room’ and will get the opportunity to move into an FP&A or Commercial Finance role once you are grounded in understanding the businesses commercial model.
Responsibilities
As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
- End to end Month End Delivery
- Manage and lead the Financial Control team
- Accounting policy and corporate governance
- Delivery of management board reports
- Partnering with senior commercial stakeholders to deliver faster data in providing Decision Support
