Electronic Reworker

Salary from £18k - £20k per year (dependent upon experience)

Job Summary:

• The rework, overhaul and test of PCBs and systems to component level and the testing of repaired equipment using test rigs and procedures.
• The rework / repair of PCBs in accordance with IPC-7711 and IPC-7721.
• Soldering and printed circuit board rework (surface mount and thru-hole technology) of fine pitch devices.

Person Specification:

• The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Qualification in soldering (IPC).
• Knowledge of IPC-610 acceptability of electronic assemblies
• Knowledge of rework / repair of PCBs to IPC 7711/7721
• Knowledge of IPC J-standard
• Ability to work well with limited supervision
• De-soldering and soldering skills
• Attention to detail
• Tidy workmanship
• Communication skills, teamwork, punctuality, the ability to work under pressure and to use initiative, honesty and integrity
