We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5 years’ experience of small works installations and projects from Engineering or M&E background.  The ideal Project Manager will have a Prince !! qualification and BA (hons) I Engineering / science.

Job Purpose

To manage and organise the end to end delivery of project work for both UK and overseas sales.

To ensure relationships between internal departments - sales, service, logistics and finance are maintained.

Control the planning and implementation of installation programmes to ensure client requirements are met and “sold” margins are attained or exceeded.

Understand the technical requirements and produce detail technical implementation plans to support these.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will contribute to the development and implementation of process and controls to ensure Project and Installations are delivered on time and to budget, also:

  • Produce effective project plans with focus on Computer Aided Design concepts
  • Value of engineering work that is completed in-house or via the clients approved sub-contract base.
  • Production of RAMS as required.
  • Ensure that the income and expenditure plans for project and installations operations are met.
  • Procurement of appropriate capital and parts equipment
  • Production of weekly reports.
  • Use of project management tools to ensure commercial oversight of project delivery.
  • Ensure that costs are maintained, controlled and communicated to the management team.
  • Review cash flow forecast on projects with COO and Finance as necessary.
  • Support in the evaluation of the clients current project delivery model and lead the implementation of profit improvement initiatives.
  • Attend weekly project reviews, own each allocated project from a technical, commercial, contractual and programme perspective, providing detailed project specific reports.
  • Understand the costs implications of labour pool v sub-contracted labour.
