Lead Site Reliability Engineer / SRE Manager
We are seeking a Lead SRE or SRE Manager to lead a hugely talented Site Reliability Engineering group ensuring the stability and scalability of a cloud platform powering billions of transactions globally.
Within the role you will have a diverse role delivering technical leadership within reliability engineering, including tooling and process improvement, team leadership with a focus on the development and growth of the group and working with senior members of the wider engineering team to deliver future tech strategy.
We are hoping to find those who are both passionate about technical delivery within a complex global platform and mentoring and improving SRE teams.
We are seeking an Lead Site Reliability Engineer / SRE Manager with;
- Leadership and management experience; preferably with teams of five upwards
- Strong understanding of SRE practice and ethos, with a desire to evangelise reliability engineering as part of the wider engineering group
- In depth technical knowledge, preferably within cloud (AWS) environments using container tooling
- A development background in either Java, Python or similar would be hugely beneficial
