Senior Quantity Surveyor (BBBH1823) Auckland, New Zealand
With over 25 years industry experience, this privately owned, Auckland based Commercial Construction company are a true market leader. They pride themselves on a flat management structure, a ‘family feel’ and a team who are highly qualified and experienced.
Because of further growth expected over the coming months, they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to come on board for this exciting period. With multiple projects in the $2-$40million range, this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced QS who is looking to take the next step in their career.
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring all projects are run efficiently and with maximum cost efficiency
- Preparation of subcontractor and supplier agreements
- Managing relationships between subcontractors
- Verification of progress claims
- Financial reporting
- Overseeing and training of junior QSs
To be successful in your application you will need a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 5 years relevant New Zealand experience. Experience working on Commercial projects at some level is essential.
You will be a clear communicator with staff, management and clients. You will have an ability to remain calm and professional at all times and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for the industry.
