An opportunity has come available for a Senior level Quantity Surveyor to join this knowledgeable and high-performing team. Reporting into the General Manager and offering progression into a commercial management role this is a key position within the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking a proactive approach to winning of new business in order to grow profitability
- Preparing tender documents
- Negotiation with clients and sub-contractors
- Financial control of contracts
- Maintaining communication/reporting to contracts manager
- Site Management as required
- Establishing long-term relationships with sub-contractors
- Help develop systems and procedures within the department
- Help achieve sales and profitability targets
- Helping oversee 2 juniors
To be successful in your application you will need to have a relevant qualification, a minimum of 5 years work experience within a commercial (ideally interior fitout) environment in an estimator/quantity surveyor role.
