Based in Auckland city fringe, this professional, commercial construction company has had a constant flow of projects up to $10million in value. They have an impressive client list and projects include: Education, Food and Beverage, Service stations, Industrial, warehouses, etc.
A vacancy has arisen for a loyal, professional Leading Hand / Foreman to join this organisation and enjoy a working environment that is ‘second to none’. With a 45-hour week and working Saturdays being a rare requirement, there is an extremely attractive package on offer also including a vehicle, phone and laptop.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- General assistance of the Site Manager
- Managing subcontractors
- Management of on-site materials
- Ensuring adherence to project specifications, costs and time
- Supervision of site
- Reporting progress
- Assisting to prepare site reports
- Assisting with H&S management
A high level of repeat business and a very high staff retention shows this company really value its staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need a carpentry background and ideally 12 months of supervisory experience at supervisory level working on NZ commercial projects and above all an attitude in line with company values.
