Top 3 critical objectives:
- Ensure the successful launch of the new brand in small format stores.
o This includes developing launch materials for in store, out of store, outdoor media and grassroots.
o More importantly this role will be expanding the launch to new channels – grocery stores, colleges and universities and food service.
o The objective of this role is to surpass sales targets of $15.7M
o This job will also require developing partnership opportunities with outside partners to develop increased distribution.
- Grow our $2.3Billion dollar single serve salty business by over 5%.
o This role will require new thinking to growing velocity of the entire Company portfolio.
o This includes step changing growth and the rest of the portfolio.
o Efforts in this area will require unique marketing and partnership programs with our Company and AB partners
- This role will be critical to developing and executing our price/size architecture for our single serve business.
o This role will require working with the Marketing CFO and his team to combine efforts around large and small format packaging design and messaging.
o This will require experience working with a design agency and combining efforts with different teams.
o Lastly this objective will require working with research partners to better understand the best way to communicate.
o Other objectives will include working with IRI and SDW data to better understand our business position and 2014 opportunities.
o There will also be numerous ad hoc marketing jobs that relate to the objectives above.
Minimum 3 years marketing experience – Company marketing or sales experience a PLUS
At least 3 years CPG work experience
At least 1 year experience working with an advertising or design agency. Skills needed include agency management, experience writing briefs and providing creative feedback
At least 1 year experience working in sales and the ability to translate sales needs into marketing ideas
Entrepreneurial Passion and Drive
- Excellent collaboration skills which will allow marketing and sales to work in partnership
- Strategic thinking with the end goal of building a portfolio business
- Experience on all key elements of marketing – branding, and clearly developing POS materials to ensure breakthrough in store
- Critical design and marketing skills with the goal of ensuring proper simple design and ease of working with designers.
