Role Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this Credit Officer takes full ownership for the assessment of credit applications and ensure alignment with key internal guidelines. The Credit Officer has primary day-to-day responsibility for the review and decision making on new credit approvals, ensuring compliance with policies as well as engaging with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review new credit approval applications ensuring necessary supporting documentation is captured and assessed.
• Drive decision making relating to credit applications, with effective communication through internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Ensure appropriate information is captured within internal systems to support appropriate compliance and governance.
• Provide coaching and guidance to internal stakeholders around internal polices and proactively contribute to continuous opportunity improvements.
• Generate reports and other information.

Candidate Profile
You are passionate about learning and bring a proactive and professional attitude to what you do. You have current experience within a credit lending environment and have impeccable communication and people engagement skills.
