Environmental Scientist 2 (11954BR) New York, New York
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: o Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments o Remediation oversight o Hazardous waste field investigations including well installation and groundwater sampling o Treatment system operation and maintenance o Storm water monitoring o Best Management Practices inspections o Assisting with the preparation of Phase I & II ESA and remediation summary reports.
Master’s degree in Geology or similar science field required. Knowledge of commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook) expected. Candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills. Other Requirements o Knowledge of chemistry and earth sciences o Strong research and organizational skills o Ability to work well independently and in a team environment by working with and directing contractors.
