PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:
Strategically develop and manage all Global Marketing programs for existing and new products in the respective category. Liaise with local teams to coordinate timing (Asia, Europe, Latin America & US). Overall responsibility for launches, packaging & advertising development. Liaison with International Relations.

NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:
Manage all aspects of New Product Development:
launch strategy, concept and name development, launch timeline execution, package development, logo development, market research plan, product claims, legal trademark process, cost-of-goods management, pricing and advertising development. Work with Product Development and the Labs to write Product R&D forms and give input on formula development. Attend Innovation Lab Day Meetings. Lead Innovation Design Meetings. Lead Project Status Meetings as well as conference calls/ videoconference Status Meetings with international.

Work with Creative Services on package development. Initiate new Marketing proposals and drive development with Creative group. Ensure that Creative is aware of all copy/package direction, providing components, working copy, etc. Review all copy submissions. Ensure that mechanicals are accurate for content, and that they are released on time. Monitor accuracy of final copy/art mechanicals.

TRADE ADVERTISING DEVELOPMENT:
Participate in trade advertising/media strategy development with agency.
Work with AVP to brief Agency on new projects (existing business and new launches)
Must work with global counterparts and senior management to help develop advertising copy and creative
Coordinating global needs
Evaluate advertising
Guide agency to prepare for photo shoots (product and model)

MARKET RESEARCH:
Recommend research plan for key launches across key countries
Organize global research studies and professional product testing
Summarize qualitative and quantitative professional and consumer testing
Attend Focus Groups as needed

FINANCIAL:
Manage global category volume, meeting pipeline growth targets
Liaise with local teams and report on monthly sales activity and insights
Manage PRI’s

ONGOING:
Supervise the preparation of the weekly Creative Agenda, ensuring that all projects are tracked, and due dates are correct. Initiate follow-up after each meeting.
Lead regular Packaging Development meetings with Feasiblity Group. Oversee the initiation of all packaging requests, ensuring that all projects are tracked and due dates are met.
Initiate and prepare relevant analysis as it relates to the essie salon business, including category reviews and marketing plan approvals.
Preparations of all meetings.
Attend meetings as necessary.
Keep abreast of marketing activity: new products and competitive activity including packaging innovations, marketing strategies tactics.

EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree required
At least 3 years of global marketing or relevant experience (Consumer Goods, Innovation)
