This is an opportunity to join a growing digital team in an international events company. You will work across a variety of interesting events and exhibitions across Europe and the UK. This is a mixed channel digital communication role which has a strong focus on email marketing.

The role:

You will assist with creating, planning and delivering highly targeted and effective email campaigns across a number of brands in the company in order to increase the number of exhibitors as well as visitors to the company’s events. You will use automation tools such as Marketo and will be highly analytical to ensure your emails are producing the highest possible interactions.

What you will be doing:

  • You will work with various teams to deliver targeted emails for various events internationally.
  • You will work closely with the performance marketing team to ensure collaboration across marketing collateral.
  • Testing will be key to the success of this role, you will be confident in analysing results and adapting email content to maximise response rates.
  • You will be creative and take ownership of the campaigns you are running.
  • You will work within a dedicated digital marketing team in the UK and with close connections with international teams.

What you are great at:

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in delivery of multi-channel marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of using email channels for business communications
  • Experience using Eloqua, HubSpot, Exact Target Automation and ideally Marketo (training in these provided, if you have strong experience in other tools)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML (for editing of templates etc)
  • Digital campaign management experience including media and creative brief creation, implementation and roll-out as well as post campaign evaluation
  • B2B trade event experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience of managing digital marketing campaigns and/or online content
  • Good marketing copywriting skills (you will work with the content team, but being able to write some copy would be an advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding and interest in current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices
