Position Details
Manager, Acquisition & Tailoring
Location: Omaha, Arkansas or Wichita

Responsible for tailoring center developed acquisition campaigns and marketing programs
to generate new customer relationships and revenue growth in the residential segment.
Generates new customer sales leads for all channels (call center, web commerce, retail
partner locations) utilizing mediums that may include television, direct mail, print, radio,
web to expand market share and to increase revenue. Works closely with product
marketing to execute appropriate messaging and tactics for new customer acquisition
initiatives. Provides support to overall marketing strategy.

Major Tasks
'Leads customization of center-developed new customer acquisition campaigns
using varied mediums and channels to successfully promote and increase
awareness of Cox Communications and its products and services.
'Implements and assists with the development of strategic and tactical marketing
programs to ensure that the system achieves revenue, net gain and margin
contribution goals.
'Develops and manages advertising creative calendar to meet marketing goals and
strategies.
'Promotes and maintains brand image at local level and ensures consistency with
the national brand image.
'Responsible for editing of marketing collateral and marketing campaign materials
using applicable editing tools.
'Measures and evaluates creative and campaign success. Provides feedback to
marketing groups or agency partners.
'Leads project activities to ensure on-time delivery and within established budget.
'Maintains knowledge of product and marketing strategies and positioning and
integrates into acquisition messaging.
'Manages the creation, production, inventory of sales promotional materials to
maximize selling efforts.
'Tracks and analyzes advertising to assist with strategy and planning.
'Researches, recommends and implements promotional programs to increase
market awareness and improve market penetration.
'Collaborates with media team and agency to develop effective customer
acquisition media plans
'Collaborates with center acquisition, product, and field/channel teams to ensure
program effectiveness and to identify areas of opportunity to drive incremental
customer growth.
'Tracks marketing expenses against budget, and reports variances.
'Leads, coaches, motivates and develops employees

Qualifications
Required
'7+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Marketing, Advertising, etc.).
'5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree
(MS/MBA or above).
'Requires excellent analytical, organization, communications, project and time
management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize assignments
'Prior experience leading marketing acquisition efforts, particularly in a competitive
industry
'Ability to multitask, meet urgent deadlines, handle multiple priorities
'Agility and flexibility while continuously responding to changing business needs
'Results and profit-oriented, with ability to balance and prioritize business
considerations and recognize budget implications of strategies.
Preferred
'BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Marketing, Business,
Communications, Advertising, etc.).
'2+ years of experience in a management role preferred
