POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for interfacing with internal customers, internal support departments, vendors, and other team members within Information Technology to plan, organize, implement, and maintain the equipment, hardware, and software that is required to support the necessary applications and productivity needs within the company. Works collaboratively with Sr Application Analysts and Enterprise Analysts to implement the infrastructure necessary to meet the various departmental requirements.

Experience supporting critical applications and associated infrastructure including servers both physical and virtual.
Demonstrated experience supporting end points and end users regarding these critical applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1.  Provide customer support throughout the system on all standard network application products and technologies including consultation with customers, installation of equipment, establishing network connectivity, and troubleshooting day to day applications/hardware problems.
2.  Provide systems analysis and technical support for all network application services including personal productivity tools, laboratory information system, and emerging technologies on all standard hardware platforms including OS deployment, client application installation, and structured cabling needs.
3.  Support the Sr. Network Application Analysts with the maintenance of server hardware infrastructure including clustered servers, operating systems and Server Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, and other network based devices.
4.  Collaborate with Sr. Network Analysts regarding the maintenance of the integrated Active Directory environment including daily network administration functions and group policy modifications necessary for the applications they support.
5.  Generate needs assessment recommendations for the I.T. portion of customer departments through the appropriate investigation of specific customer and departmental computing needs. This includes planning for future growth while maintaining a stable environment.
6.  Mentor less experienced LAN Applications Specialists as a technical and training resource.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Two (2) years’ experience in computer hardware and technology administration including experience supporting physical and virtual hardware, software, network technologies and protocols.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple activities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems utilized in a highly technical and changing environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in healthcare and/or Laboratory environment.
