Billing Information Support Rep

Location:  Tempe, Arizona


POSITION SUMMARY
The function of this position is to support the billing information coordinators by researching root causes of missing information, medical necessity write off's and patient denials.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Forms a working relationship with the Billing Information Coordinators and with key contacts at each client location.
2. Compiles all client correspondence for the Billing Information Coordinators and for each client. Researches all requests to ensure proper distribution and accurate communications are made regarding missing information, medical necessity errors, patient denials and PSC/IOP errors.
3. Responds to phone calls from clients and BIC’s to resolve billing issues.
4. Has a working knowledge of internal clients’ duties and responsibilities.
5. Assists other billing sub-departments when needed.
6. Reconciles returned requests and accurately enters data into the system, along with Care 360 standing order updates.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires 3 years experience in accounts receivable medical billing.

Ability to work independently and accurately with high volumes of data.
