Due to company growth a supplier of hardware and gardening products are now looking for a new sales account manager to grow customer accounts, develop customer relations, and secure new business. The client are a very well-established family run business that have been supplying the trade since 1925. The position will be to work in their fastest growing team, this has seen significant growth in the past 18 months and is on track to triple its revenue this year. This is a fantastic development opportunity to grow and build on existing skills in a fast pace sales office environment,. The candidate will must have telesales experience, as well as face to face business development and be be heavily driven, have good work ethics and will be passionate about the products they sell. The account manager will be expected to: • Utilize our vast account database to grow existing customers and convert new business • Generate own leads to secure new business • Be able and willing to visit customers off site • Be a key part of the trade show sales team during exhibitions • Help with general customer service and administrative tasks Candidate requirements: • Have competent IT skills • Strong communication skills • Sales experience • Hold a UK driving licence with access to a car •
