Follow APQP process. Prepare full PPAP and shop-floor quality documentation to support a range of new products for internal processes. Liaise with Customer, other team members and shop-floor personnel during project introduction through to PPAP submission and signoff. Liaise with other team members including shop floor personnel to ensure understanding of requirements. Involvement in trouble-shooting prior and post project launch, including driving improvement activities. Support Customer post launch on day to day concerns, involving cross-functional team to resolve using problem-solving tools.

Support generation of APQP / PPAP documentation and ensure compliance with Ford/Jaguar/Renault/GM requirements – final assy. - Documentation will include creation of Process Flows, PFMEA’s, and Control Plans etc. in-line with submission requirements of AIAG PPAP - Ensure compliance to customer specifics - Review available DFMEA’s and ensure Process Flow, PFMEA’s, Control Plans etc. are in-line with them. |

Work Experience:
- Candidate should have a solid engineering background, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Experience with Jaguar Land Rover plus the ability to navigate JLR Covisint.Portal.
Candidate will be required to have experience of preparing PPIR documentation and uploading into Covisint.
- Candidate will have a Quality focused background with a good understanding of both ISO9001 and IATF 16949.
- New Part Introduction, Launch Experience and ability to complete all APQP. documentation is essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently on assigned tasks.
- Confident in liaising directly with the customer at senior level.
Education / Certification:
- HND preferred however relevant work experience will be taken into consideration.
- Trained in Core Skills: APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA, 8D Problem Solving.
- Green Belt Certified
- Quality related certification also preferred.
- Hold a Full UK driving license and valid Passport as occasional travel will be required.
Specialised Skills / Knowledge:
- Engineering background (Preferably Automotive)
- Quality Assurance background gained 1ST Tier Supplier / OEM
- APQP / PPAP process.
- Computer Literate – High competency using Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Able to work and multi-task in a fast demanding environment.
