Role      

The role of Site Maintenance Technician is to carry out preventative and reactive site maintenance and compliance tasks... This reinforces an ongoing effort to eliminate faults and variation within our processes to deliver right first time products.

 

Mandatory Responsibilities        

  • Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  • Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
  • Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
  • Promote and Display the Core Values.

Role  Responsibilities      •             Carry out daily planned and unplanned duties as instructed by the Maintenance Manager or Lead Development Engineer

 

  • Carry out planned compliance activities and maintain relevant documentation and records to ensure adherence to legal requirements.

 

  • Assist when required with plant and machinery breakdowns as prioritised by production requirements and allotted work schedule.

 

  • Ensure continued operation of water processing and material blending operations through PPM activities / repairs

 

  • Complete allotted tasks in a timely and safe fashion so as to maximise factory output and minimize downtime.

 

  • Record all required information and update technical documentation for all operations as per company works instructions/procedures.

 

  • Alert relevant people to process and engineering concerns and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

 

  • Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Maintenance Manager and the training plan.

Skills/Abilities   

  • Experience of emergency lighting testing, fire alarm testing, sprinklers systems advantageous.
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to use a PC to a good standard.

  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Higher educational engineering qualification desirable.
  • Current Edition Wiring qualification desirable.
