My client are a global manufacturing organisation who supply precision machined components to leading companies in the Aerospace, Military and Marine sectors.

They are currently looking for a Estimating Engineer to support with the costing and quotation process with both new and existing programmes.

Estimating Engineer Job Description

• Estimate and quote new and current projects with accuracy and within timescales

• To maximise profitability through negotiations

• Communicate effectively with the Engineering Director and Business Development Department

• Support with the submission of bids Estimating Engineer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• HND/HNC/Degree within a relevant Engineering disciple

• 5+ years’ experience in an Aerospace/Automotive manufacturing enviroment

• From a strong CNC machining background

• Knowledge of CAD CAM systems

• Ability to implement lean techniques Estimating Engineer Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Experience of APQP and PFMEA’s

• Experience with Solid Works or Catia
