Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Introduction

The Supervisor position is hands on, with line management responsibility of one of the bays within the business, must drive the preventative maintenance system and support the Apprenticeship scheme.

Working Hours (Days)

Mon-Thursday                           07-30am to 17-45pm            (Lunch 45Mins)

Fri                                                               07-30am to 13-OOpm                 (No-Lunch)

(Flexible working hours within the week and weekends) overtime at premium rates

Experience/ qualifications

C+G part 3 or ONC/HNC

Time served Apprenticeship

Good competency with hydraulic & pneumatic drawings [fault finding

Experience with motors & drives — Gear motors, reduction gearboxes, overhead cranes

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Requirements

Previous foundry experience (Ideal)

Ability to use lathe, milling machine, grinders etc...

Duties-

Respond to breakdowns

Reports breakdowns

Re-order stock used from stock to maintain stores stock levels

Assist in the analysis of breakdowns, suggest and implement corrective actions

Installation of equipment

Support the training of apprentices
