HGV Class 1 LGV CE Driver, days/nights.
Professional Driving Recruitment Services Limited require Class 1 / C+E drivers for a new contract running from Newark, Nottinghamshire.
This necessitates drivers to work days or nights both for trunking and delivering to either other depots or to retailers DC’s on curtain side trailers.
Duration:
The client is looking for drivers to work Monday to Friday days/nights, with weekend work available.
Ongoing agency work.
Job Title:
HGV Class 1 LGV CE driver, days/nights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daytime drivers may be required to night out.
- There are also positions for weekend drivers for shop deliveries for a well-known national retailer with 1 or 2 drops delivering general products for the home and garden, again this would be day or night shifts consisting of 10 – 12 hours.
Required Skills
- Recent HGV 1 driving experience is essential
- Have no more than 6 points on your HGV / LGV licence
- Experienced night driver for night shifts.
Due to insurance limitations we are only able to offer this vacancy to drivers who have held a Class1 licence for 2 years with 180 days experience and have no more than 9 points for minor offences.
Shifts available: Days
- Shift pattern: Mon-Fri, occasional weekends
- Starts available from 04.00 to 07.00.
- Maybe other start times through the day as per client requirement.
- Very occasional night out as required.
Shifts available: Nights
- Shift pattern: Mon-Fri, occasional weekends
- Starts usually from 16.00 to 19.00.
Limited Company Contractors, Umbrella and PAYE applicants are welcome
